I had a very good experience being treated by Mr Chawla. I felt very confident whilst undergoing minor surgery. Mr Chawla and his assistant/nurse were very professional and made me feel safe. I wasnt really prepared for how my eye would look after taking off the dressing next day, but used the cream provided and hoped it was getting to the right place (my stitches) as there was some dried blood which hid where exactly the stitches were. Pleased to say after a follow-up appointment, everything is fine. Maybe a little more info on aftercare would have helped a bit.

Mr Chawla is a good communicator. His advice was clear and concise. Very easy to understand. The procedure went well. Mr Chawla and his team were very professional and attentive. I did not suffer any unforeseen issues at all. It was painless from start to finish, I did not require any pain remedies. Other than Mr Chawla being an Arsenal fan (!), I would definitely recommend him for ophthalmic consultancy or treatment. Paul.

I have just completed blepharoplasty upper and lower lids (both eyes) and am more than happy with the treatment received prior to surgery and afterwards. I found that everything was explained matter of factly with no illusions as to the outcome of the surgery. Basically I have received what was indicated to me at the outset. Mr Chawla and his team are very caring and I can heartily recommend him and his theatre sister Jenny. All in all I can say it was a good experience bearing in mind eyes are such an important part of your makeup and entrusting these to a third party needed trust and this wasn't misplaced.

From the moment I Walked into the Spire Hospital Brentwood I felt comfortable, the receptionists were welcoming, I met the ward clerk Helen who was calming as she could see I was nervous, Mr Chawla's nurse Jenny is clearly very experienced with the procedures and has worked with Mr Chawla for years very comforting.All in all the eye surgery and visits were a great experience. I would thoroughly recommend this Hospital and it's staff.
